Do you know a current/former foster youth planning to transfer from community college to a 4-year university during the 2013-14 academic year? If so, please do them a favor, refer them to the College Sponsorship Program! Transfer CSP youth are eligible for up to 3 years of academic, financial, and personal support, including up to $9,000 for college. The details are as follows:

Program Components:

. financial assistance to attend 4-year colleges/universities
. regular contact and meetings with Education Program staff
. support in post-graduation planning to help students secure their first job or entrance into graduate school
. paid, career-oriented internships to explore chosen majors, apply skills and gain work experience

Eligibility:

. Los Angeles County current/former foster or probation youth age 23 or younger
. Students who are/were ILP eligible
. Students with a cumulative 2.8 GPA or above who plan to enroll at a four-year university in Fall 2013 or Spring 2014
. Students who are committed to fulfilling their educational goals
